Attach the lifting tackle to the yoke.2. Carefully lift the handwheel. Checkwhether the lifting equipment andaccessories can bear the weight.3. Move the handwheel at an even pace tothe site of installation.4. Mount the handwheel. See section 5.5. Remove the lifting tackle.We recommend using a hook with safetylatch. The safety latch prevents the slingsfrom slipping during lifting and transporting.4.3 StorageRisk of handwheel damage due to improperstorage.− Observe storage instructions.− Avoid long storage times.− Contact SAMSON in case of different stor-age conditions or long storage periods.Storage instructions− Protect the handwheel against externalinfluences (e.g. impact).− Do not damage the corrosion protection(paint, surface coatings). Remove anydamage immediately.− Protect the handwheel against moistureand dirt. Store it at a relative humidity ofless than 75 %. In damp spaces, preventcondensation.
