Inspectionby a qualified inspector is not required if themanufacturer performs a routine test on thedevice before putting it back into operation.Document the passing of the routine test byattaching a mark of conformity to the device.Replace explosion-protected components on-ly by original, routine-tested componentsfrom the manufacturer.Devices that have already been operatedoutside hazardous areas and are intendedfor future use inside hazardous areas mustcomply with the safety requirements placedon serviced devices. Before being operatedinside hazardous areas, test the devices ac-cording to the specifications for servicingexplosion-protected devices.
