Parental restriction information is automaticallydownloaded while watching DTV channels. Itmay take several seconds. The Downloadable U.S. Rating menuis available for use after information isdownloaded from the broadcasting station.However, depending on the information fromthe broadcasting station, it may not be availablefor use. Parental restriction levels differ depending onthe broadcasting station. The default menuname and Downloadable U.S. Rating changedepending on the downloaded information. Even if you set the on-screen display to anotherlanguage, the Downloadable U.S. Ratingmenu will appear in English only. The rating will automatically block certaincategories that deal with more sensitivematerial. The rating titles (For example: Humor Level..etc)and TV ratings (For example: DH, MH, H..etc)may differ depending on the broadcastingstation.■ Change PIN: The Change PIN screen will appear.Choose any 4 digits for your PIN and enter it in EnterNew PIN. Re-enter the same 4 digits in Confirm NewPIN. When the Change PIN screen disappears, pressthe OK button. The TV has memorized your new PIN.How to watch a restricted channelIf the TV is tuned to a restricted channel, the V-Chipwill block it. The screen will go blank and the followingmessage will appear:This channel is blocked by V-Chip. Please enter thePIN to unblock.✎ If you forget the PIN, press the remote-controlbuttons in the following sequence, which resetsthe pin to “0-0-0-0” : POWER (off) - MUTE - 8- 2 - 4 - POWER (on)Other Features MENU - Setup - ENTERMenu LanguageSet the menu language.1. Select Menu Language and press the ENTER button.2.
