11English02 ConnectionsChanging the Input SourceSource ListUse to select TV or other external inputsources such as DVD / Blu-ray players /cable box / STB satellite receiver connectedto the TV.TV / Ext.1 / Ext.2 / PC / AV /■Component / HDMI1/DVI / HDMI2 /HDMI3 / HDMI4 / USBIn the✎ Source List, connectedinputs will be highlighted.Ext.1, Ext.2✎ and PC always stay activated.Edit NameVCR / DVD / Cable STB / Satellite STB / PVR STB /■AV Receiver / Game / Camcorder / PC / DVI PC / DVIDevices / TV / IPTV / Blu-ray / HD DVD / DMA: Namethe device connected to the input jacks to make yourinput source selection easier.When a PC with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 @✎ 60Hz is connected to the HDMI IN 1(DVI) port,you should set to DVI PC mode under Edit Name.When connecting an HDMI/DVI cable to the✎ HDMIIN 1(DVI) port, you should set to DVI PC or DVIDevices mode under Edit Name.CONNECTIONS COMMON INTERFACE SlotTo watch paid channels, the “CI or CI+ CARD” must be inserted.If you don’t insert the “CI or CI+ CARD,” some channels willydisplay the message “Scrambled Signal”.The pairing information containing a telephone number, the “CI oryCI+ CARD” ID the Host ID and other information will be displayedin about 2~3 minutes. If an error message is displayed, pleasecontact your service provider.When the configuration of channel information has finished, theymessage “Updating Completed” is displayed, indicating thechannel list is updated.NOTE✎ You must obtain a “CI or CI+ CARD” from a local cable service provider.xWhen removing the “CI or CI+ CARD”, carefully pull it out with your hands since dropping the “CI or CI+ CARD” mayx cause damage to it.Insert the “CI or CI+ CARD” in the direction marked on the card.xThe location of thex COMMON INTERFACE slot may be different depending on the model.“CI or CI+ CARD” is not supported in some countries and regions; check with your authorized dealer.xIf you have any problems, please contact a service provider.x |
