It will save your time and theexpense of an unnecessary call.Explanation/Solution Check if the circuit breaker of the air conditioner is switched on. Check if the air conditioner is turned on. If necessary, press thebutton on the remote control. Check if the Timer indicator on the indoor unit is on.If so:- Wait until the set time is reached and the air conditioner startsautomatically.- Cancel the Timer. (See pages 16 and 17 for further details) Check if there are no obstacles in front of the indoor unit. Check the remote control batteries. Make sure that you are within 7 meters from the indoor unit. Check if you are pointing the remote control at the remote controlsensor on the right side of the indoor unit. Replace the remote control batteries if necessary. Check if the correct operating mode has been selected(Auto, Cool). The room temperature may be too low. Check if the air filter is dirty; refer to page 23 for cleaning instructions. Check that there is no obstacle in front of the outdoor unit. Check if the mode is set to the Auto, Cool or Fan mode;in the Dry mode, the fan speed changes automatically. Check if the air conditioner has been turned on; if necessary, pressthe button on the remote control. Check if the timer is set correctly; see pages 16 and 17. You can use the Fan mode to ventilate your room.ProblemThe air conditioner does notoperate.The air conditioner does notoperate with the remote control.No beep is heard when you pressthe on the remotecontrol.The air conditioner does not cool.The fan speed does not changewhen you press the button.The airflow direction does notchange when you press thebutton.The timer is not correctly triggered.Odor permeates into theroom during operation.
