Operating VCR (DVD) withRemote Control47• The remote control may not work on some brands of VCR (DVD)s. Also, some operations may notbe possible depending on your brand of VCR (DVD).• If you do not set the remote control with the code for your brand VCR (DVD), the remote controlwork on a Samsung VCR (DVD) by default.1 Press MODE button to make VCR indicatoron the remote control flash.2 Press POWER( ) button to turn on theVCR (DVD).3 Point the remote control toward the VCR(DVD).4 While holding down POWER( ) button,enter the code corresponding to your brandof VCR (DVD).• If the code matches the VCR (DVD)'s code, the VCR (DVD) willbe turned off.• If there is more than one code listed for your VCR (DVD) in thetable, enter one at a time to determine which code works.Ex)For a ‘Samsung’ VCR (DVD)While holding down POWER( ) button, use the Numericbutton to enter 00, 32~45, 87, and 88.• If you operate DVD, press Device Select button to make DVDindicator on the remote control flash.• You can use VCR (DVD) POWER, VOLUNE, PLAY, PAUSE,STOP, SKIP and Numeric button (0~9).5 If VCR (DVD) is turned on or off when you pressthe power button of the remote controller, thesetting is completed.AS700GB 11/24/04 10:54 AM Page 47
