English - 25O P E R AT I O NLabeling the Channels (depending on the model)Use this feature to assign an easy-to-remember label to any channel (i.e., “CBS”, “ESPN”,“PBS2”, CNN1”, etc.) A label consists of four fields, where each field is a letter, a num-ber, “*”, or a blank. When the INFO button is pressed, the channel label will appearnext to the channel number.1Press the CH or CHbutton to tune to the channelthat will be labeled.2Press the MENU button todisplay the menu.Press the ▲ or ▼ button toselect “Channel”, then pressthe œœ or √√ button.3Press the ▲ or ▼ button toselect “Labeling”.Press the √√ button to beginlabeling. The left-most field willbe highlighted. (Each label hasfour fields. See top paragraph.)4Press the ▲ or ▼ button toselect a letter, a number, “*”, ora blank. (Pressing the ▲ or ▼button results in this sequence:A,B,...Z,*, blank,0,1,...9).▼ Note: You cannot select“Labeling” in the A/V mode.5Press the √√ button to switch tothe next field, which will be high-lighted. Select a second letter ordigit using the ▲ and ▼ buttons,as above.
