In standby mode and with Quick Search enabled, press thefirst few numeric keys that correspond to the letters of theContact’s name.Example: To search for “Sally” you would enter 725.2. Press the navigation key Up. A list of Contact names thatbegin with letters corresponding to the number keys youpressed appears in the display.3. Highlight the searched for Contact.• To call the Contact, press the Send key.• To view the Contact, press the OK key.Adding a New Contacts EntryYou can use either of two methods to add an entirely new entry toContacts.Dial Method1. Using the keypad, enter the number you wish to add toyour Contacts.2. Press Save. The following options appear in the display:• Create New: Lets you create a new Contacts entry.• Update Existing: Lets you add the number you entered to anexisting Contacts entry.3. Select Create New.The Create New screen appears in the display showing thefollowing options:• Mobile• Home• Work• Pager• Fax4. Select the number type that matches your new entry. TheNew Contact screen appears in the display.5. Use the keypad to enter a name to associate with theContacts entry.6. Press Save to save the entry.Menu Method1. In standby mode, press Menu, then select Contacts ➔ AddNew Entry.The New Contact screen appears in the display with theName field highlighted.2. Enter the name of the new entry using the keypad.
