ENGLISHE-17Drain Hose InstallationCare must be taken when installing the drain hose for the indoor unitto ensure that any condensate water is correctly drained outside. Thedrain hose can be installed to the right of the base pan.Unscrew the 4 tapped screws to remove the cover of the drain hoseconnection port.1Insert the flexible hose to the drain hose port.2CCCC AAAA UUUU TTTT IIII OOOO NNNNWhen not installing the drain pumpDo not give the hose and upward gradientafter the connection port.This will cause water to flow backwards whenthe unit is stopped, resulting in water leaks.Do not apply force to the piping on the unit sidewhen connecting the drain hose. The hose shouldnot be allowed to hang loose from its connection tothe unit. Inner diameter of the drain hose3Wrap the drain hose with the insulation drain as shown in figure and secure it.4 Give a slightly slant to the drain hose for proper drainage ofcondensate.
