Call Functions 22Manual Pause CallingWhen you call automated systems (like banking services), youare often required to enter a password or account number.Instead of manually entering the numbers each time, you canstore the numbers in your Contacts along with special characterscalled pauses.• Wait — Hard Pause — Stops the calling sequence until you press.• 2-Sec Pause — Stops the calling sequence for two seconds and thenautomatically sends the remaining digits.To manually call a number with pause(s) without storing it to yourContacts:1. In standby mode, press the Dialer soft key. The touchkeypad screen appears in the display.2. Enter the number you wish to call.3. Press the Add Pause soft key.A pop-up menu containing the following options appears inthe display:• Wait• 2-Sec PauseTip: You can create pauses longer than two seconds by entering multiple 2-Sec Pauses.4. Select the desired pause option. The respective letter (W orP) is added to your number entry.5. Press or the Voice Call soft key to call the number.Making a Call — ContactDialingYou can store phone numbers andcontact names in your phone’sContacts list.
