The screen shows the:• Date and time at which the message was received• Memory in which the message was stored ( foryour SIM card or for the phone memory)• Message contentsTo scroll through the message contents, press theor key.To scroll through messages that include images ormelodies, press the , , or key. When youfocus on an object that includes a melody, the melodyis played.You can choose the following options, by pressingthe soft key.Delete: allows you to delete the message.Send: allows you to send the message to anotherperson.Edit: allows you to edit the message.Transfer: allows you to transfer the message fromyour SIM card to the phone memory.Call back: allows you to call the sender back.Cut number: extracts a number from the message, sothat you can call the number or save it in thephonebook.Extract media: saves media items, such as sounds orimages, from the message into your phone’s media box.You can use these items when writing a message; forfurther details, see page 66.Message reply: allows you to reply by sending a textmessage.Chatting: allows you to have a conversation withanother person using text messages; for further details,refer to page 69.Outbox (Menu 1-2)The outbox stores any messages that you have alreadysent or just saved without sending.When the Outbox menu option is selected, the list ofmessages you have sent or saved is displayed with the:• Recipient’s phone number (or name if stored in thephonebook)• Message status ( for a sent message or for anunsent message)To view a message, scroll to it and press the softkey.
