38Menu functionsBroadcast messages (Menu 5.6)The Cell Broadcast service delivers short messages onvarious topics such as the weather or traffic.Use this menu to change the settings for the serviceand access broadcast messages.• Read: open received messages.The Volatile box saves network messages untilthe phone is switched off.The Archive box saves network messagesindefinitely. Press <Options> and select Savewhen a text notification appears. The message issaved in the Archive box.• Receive: enable or disable the reception ofbroadcast messages.• Channel list: specify the channels from which youreceive broadcast messages.• Language: select the language in which broadcastmessages display.Please contact your service provider for details.Memory status (Menu 5.7)Use this menu to view the total number of messagesyou can store and the number of messages you havestored on the SIM card, in the phone’s memory, and inthe CB memory.Funbox (Menu 6)The Funbox menu allows you to use the WAP browser,play Java games, and access images and soundsstored in the phone’s memory.To access this menu, press <Menu> in Idle mode andselect Funbox.WAP browser (Menu 6.1)The Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) browser onyour phone allows you to access the wireless web.Using the WAP browser, you can access updatedinformation and a wide variety of media content, suchas wallpapers and ring tones.
