Changing Your Settings 55Set FDN ModeFDN (Fixed Dialing Number) mode, if supported by your SIM card,restricts your outgoing calls to a limited set of phone numbersthat are stored in the SIM FDN list. When this feature is enabled,you can make calls only to phone numbers stored in the FDN liston the SIM card.1. Highlight On or Off and press the Select soft key orthe key to assign the new setting.2. Enter your PIN2 password and press the OK soft key orthe key.Note: Your PIN2 is provided by your service provider.Change Phone PasswordThe Change Phone Password feature allows you to change yourcurrent phone password to a new one. You must enter thecurrent password before you can specify a new one. Once youhave entered a new password, you are asked to confirm it byentering it again.Change PIN CodeThis feature allows you to change your current PIN code,provided that the PIN Check feature is enabled (see “Check PINCode” on page 54). You must enter the current PIN before youcan specify a new one.Once you have entered a new PIN, you are asked to confirm it byentering it again.Change PIN2 CodeThe Change PIN2 Code feature allows you to change your currentPIN2 to a new one. You must enter the current PIN2 before youcan specify a new one. Once you have entered a new PIN2, youare asked to confirm it by entering it again.Note: Not all SIM cards have a PIN2. If your SIM card does not, this menuitem does not display.Reset PhoneThe Reset Phone option allows you reset your phone to itsdefault settings.1. In Idle mode, press Menu ➔ Settings ➔ Phone ➔Reset Phone.You receive the prompt, “All settings reset to factorydefaults. Continue?”.2. Press the OK soft key to reset your phone or press the Backsoft key to cancel.
