Entering Text45Using T9 ModeT9 is a predictive text input mode that allows you tokey in any character using single keystrokes. Thistext input mode is based on a built-in dictionary.To enter a word in T9 mode:1. When you are in T9 mode, start entering a wordby pressing the keys 2 to 9. Press each key onlyonce for each letter.Example: To enter “HELLO” in T9 mode,press the 4, 3, 5, 5 and 6 keys.The word that you are typing appears on thedisplay. It may change with each key that youpress.2. Enter the whole word before editing or deletingthe keystrokes.3. When the word displays correctly, go to step 4.If not, press the 0 key or the Up or Down keyrepeatedly to display alternative word choicesfor the keys that you have pressed.Example: Both “OF” and “ME” use the 6 and 3keys. The phone displays the mostcommonly used choice first.4. Insert a space between words by pressing thekey.
