Connectivity105› Connect as a mass storage deviceYou can connect your device to a PC as a removable disk andaccess the file directory. If you insert a memory card in thedevice, you can also access the file directory of the memorycard by using the device as a memory card reader.The file directory of the memory card will appear as aremovable disk, separate from the internal memory.If you want to transfer files from or to a memory card,1 insert a memory card into the device.Using a USB cable, connect the multifunction jack on your2 device to a PC.Open the notifications panel and select3 USB connected→ Connect USB storage.Open the folder to view files.4Copy files from the PC to the memory card.5When you are finished, select6 Disconnect storage fromPC.To disconnect the device from the PC, click the USBdevice icon on the Windows task bar and click theoption to safely remove the mass storage device. Thenremove the USB cable from the PC. Otherwise, you maylose data stored on the memory card or damage thememory card.
