Settings 143Reset Network SettingsYou can reset Wi-Fi, Mobile data, and Bluetoothsettings with Reset network settings.1. From a Home screen, tap Apps > Settings.2. Tap General management > Reset >Reset network settings.3. Tap Reset settings, and confirm when prompted.Factory Data ResetYou can reset your device to factory defaults, erasing alldata from your device.This action permanently erases ALL data from thedevice, including Google or other account settings,system and application data and settings, downloadedapplications, as well as your music, photos, videos, andother files. Any data stored on an external SD card isnot affected.Note: When you sign in to a Google Account on yourdevice, Factory Reset Protection is activated. Thisprotects your device in the event it is lost or stolen.For more information, see “Factory Reset Protection” onpage 12.If you reset your device to factory default settingswith the Factory Reset Protection (FRP) featureactivated, you must enter the user name and passwordfor a registered Google Account to regain access tothe device. You will not be able to access the devicewithout the correct credentials.Warning: If you reset your Google Account password, itcan take 24 hours for the password reset to sync withall devices registered to the account.
