VoicemailYour phone automatically transfers all unanswered calls to your voicemail, even if your phone isturned off. You should set up your Sprint Voicemail and personal greeting as soon as yourphone is activated. Without a password, anyonewho has access to your phone can access your voicemail messages.Voicemail NotificationThere are a couple of different ways your phone alerts you to a new voicemail message.● By sounding the assigned ringer type.● By displaying in the Notifications area of the Status bar when a new voicemailmessage is received.● By displaying the number of new voicemail message(s) on the Voicemail app icon.Note: Your phone accepts voicemail even when it is turned off. However, your phone onlynotifies you of new messages when it is turned on and you are in a Sprint service area. Whenyou are outside the Nationwide Sprint Network, you may not receive notification of newvoicemail messages. Sprint recommends that you periodically check your voicemail by dialing 1+ area code + your wireless phone number.
