85Send Information Using BluetoothYou can use Bluetooth to transfer information between yourtablet and another Bluetooth-enabled device such as a tabletor notebook computer. The first time you transfer informationbetween your table and another device, you need to enter orconfirm a security passcode. After that, your tablet and theother device are paired, and you will not need to exchangepass codes to transfer information in the future.Send Information from Your Tablet to Another DeviceYou can send the following types of information, dependingon the device you are sending to:• Images and videos• Calendar events• Contacts• Audio filesNote: Your tablet must already be paired to the target devicein order to share files. For more information, refer to“Pairing with a Bluetooth Device” on page 83.1. From a Home screen, touch Apps ➔ Settings➔ Connections tab ➔ Bluetooth.2. Touch the OFF/ON button to turn Bluetooth ON .3. Set the target device to discoverable mode. Refer tothe target device's documentation for instructions onreceiving information over Bluetooth.4. On your tablet, open the application that contains theinformation or file you want to send. Some commonways of sharing files via Bluetooth include:• While viewing photos or videos in the Gallery, touch➔ Bluetooth.• While playing music using the Music app, touchMenu ➔ Via Bluetooth.• While viewing a Contact, touch Menu ➔Share namecard ➔ Bluetooth.5. Touch the name of the target device.6. On the target device, follow the prompts to acceptthe file.
