Settings 281Mobile Networks SettingsThe Mobile networks settings menu allows you to configure your mobile network connections.Set options for network selection and data service.1. From home, tap Apps > Settings > Mobile networks .2. Configure options:l Network mode: Choose a preferred network mode. Available options depend on yourphone’s features, but may include: CDMA, LTE/CDMA, GSM/UMTS, and Automatic (therecommended setting).l Data roaming: When you are outside your home network area, your phone can still connectto other networks that your provider supports via roaming. There may be additional costs foraccessing networks while roaming, so you may want to control your phone’s roamingbehavior with Roaming settings.o Roaming network: Select a roaming default. Choose Home only, to only connect tothe Sprint network, or Automatic to allow connections to Sprint’s partner networks,when available.o Roaming guard: Choose options for displaying an onscreen roaming notice for certainfunctions. Enable or disable roaming notices for Voice and Data for Domestic, Voice,Data and Outgoing text message for International networks, and Voice, Data andOutgoing text message for GSM networks (if supported by your phone).o Roaming Settings: Enable or disable roaming options, including Voice and Data forDomestic and International networks, and Data for GSM networks (if supported by yourphone).l Access Point Names: View, configure, and add access point names (APNs) for yourphone’s data connection.
