Options While Composing a MessageWhile composing a message, press to reveal additionalmessaging options:• Insert smiley: Add emoticons, such as a happy face, to yourmessage.• Add text: Insert text or data from S Memo, Contacts, a Location,Calendar, or from Text templates.• Add to contacts: Add the recipient to your Contacts. This optiononly appears if the recipient is not already in your Contacts.• View contact: View Contact information on the recipient. Thisoption only appears if the recipient is in your Contacts.• Add slide: Add a new page to a message.• Add subject: Add a subject line to the message.• Add recipients: Add additional recipients.• Scheduling: Assign the current message for scheduled deliveryat a designated time.• Add to spam numbers: Tag a number as spam so that thesemessages can be directly delivered to your spam folder.• Remove from spam numbers: Unregister a number from thespam number list. This option only appears if the number waspreviously registered as spam.• Discard: Delete the current message.• Translate: Launch S Translate. Here you can both assign thesender’s original language and assign a target language for therecipient (they will receive your message in the designatedlanguage).• Font size: Select the desired message text font size (Use devicefont sizes, Tiny, Small, Normal, Large, or Huge).Managing MessagesMessages that are sent to and received from a contact (or anumber) are grouped into conversations or “threads” in theAll messages screen. Threads let you see all exchangedmessages with a contact.View a Message1. From the main Home screen, touch Messaging.2. From the message list, touch a message to display it.• To view the details of a particular message, in the messagethread, touch and hold the message to open the options menu,and then touch View message details.• If a message contains a link to a Web page, touch the messageand then touch the link to open it in the Web browser.Messaging 48
