28Pick UpLift the phone.• Direct call: When this setting is On, you can lift the phoneto your ear to call a displayed contact in Messaging,Contacts, or Call Log to dial the contact’s phone number.• Smart alert: When this setting is On, the phone willautomatically notify you to missed calls and alerts thatoccurred while the phone was stationary.TiltTouch and hold two points on the screen, with your thumbs,then tilt the phone forward and back to zoom in or out.• Zoom: When this setting is On, tilting the phone while inGallery or Internet causes the screen to zoom in or out.PanTouch and hold on the screen; then move the phone in aside-to-side motion.• Move an icon: When this setting is On, moving the phonein a panning motion (side-to-side) moves a highlightedicon to a new location on the Home screen.• Browse an image: When this setting is On, moving thephone in a panning motion while viewing an image movesfocus around in the image.Turn OverPlace the phone screen down on a horizontal surface, suchas a table.• Mute/pause: When this setting is On, turning the phonescreen-down automatically mutes incoming call ringtonesand alerts sounds.Caution!
