To connect yourphone to Sprint Spark, you need to be in an area covered by the Sprint Spark enhanced LTEnetwork.For more information about the availability of Sprint Spark in your location, visit sprint.com/coverage.Note: The availability and range of the network depends on a number of factors, including yourdistance to the base station and infrastructure and other objects through which the signal passes.Set Your Network Options1. Press and touch > Settings > Connections > More networks > Mobilenetworks > Network mode.2. Select LTE/CDMA or CDMA. The phone will scan for the best available Sprint network and willautomatically connect to it.When your phone is connected to the Sprint Spark enhanced LTE network, the SprintSpark icon appears in the status bar.Note: The Sprint Spark network is self-discoverable, which means no additional steps are requiredfor your phone to connect to it.Depending on which icons appear within the Notifications area, your services and features willchange. The following table indicates what functions and features are available when combinationsof these service icons appear:Icon Description3G Coverage: The phone is connected to the Sprint 3G network. The icon spins when your phone is scanning and connecting.Virtual Private Networks (VPN)From your phone, you can add, set up, and manage virtual private networks (VPNs) that allow youto connect and access resources inside a secured local network, such as your corporate network.Prepare Your Phone for VPN ConnectionDepending on the type of VPN, you may be required to enter your login credentials or install securitycertificates before you can connect to your company’s local network. You can get this informationfrom your network administrator.
