25 AlarmApplicationsAlarmThe Alarm app offers features forkeeping track of time and settingalarms.Adding and Configuring AlarmsCreate an alarm event. You can set one-time orrecurring alarms, and choose options for how to benotified.1. From a Home screen, tap Apps > Alarm.2. Tap Create alarm.– or –Touch an existing alarm to display the Edit alarmscreen.3. Tap fields on the screen to configure the alarm.• Time: Choose a time for the alarm.• Days: Choose the days to use this alarm.• Repeat weekly: When enabled, the alarmrepeats every week.• Type: Choose whether the alarm will usesound, vibration, or vibration and sound toalert you.• Alarm tone: If you have chosen an alarm typethat includes sound, choose a sound to playfor the alarm.• Volume: If you have chosen an alarm typethat includes sound, drag the slider to set thevolume of the alarm.• Location alarm: When activated, the alarmonly sounds when you are at a specificlocation.• Snooze: Allow snoozing, and set Interval andRepeat values for the alarm while snoozing.• Smart alarm: When on, the alarm will startplaying a tone at a low volume at an intervalbefore the alarm time, and slowly increase involume. Choose a time interval and a tone touse with smart alarm. Available when you havechosen an alarm type that includes sound.• Name: Enter a name for the alarm.4. Tap Save.Delete an Alarm1. From a Home screen, tap Apps > Alarm.2. Touch and hold an alarm, and then tapDelete.
