33 ClockApplicationsClockThe Clock app features an Alarmand a World Clock.1. From a Home screen, tap Apps > Clock.2. Tap a tab to use a feature:• ALARM: Set an alarm to ring at a specific time.• WORLD CLOCK: View the time of day ornight in other parts of the world. World Clockdisplays time in hundreds of different cities,within all 24 time zones around the world.• STOPWATCH: Measure intervals of time.• TIMER: Use a timer to count down to an eventbased on a preset time length (hours, minutes,and seconds).AlarmSet alarms by using the ALARM tab.Create an AlarmCreate an alarm event. You can set one-time orrecurring alarms, and choose options for how to benotified.1. From a Home screen, tap Apps > Clock >ALARM.2. Tap following items to configure an alarm:• Date: Choose the day for this alarm.• Time: Set a time for the alarm.• Repeat weekly: Choose when to repeat thealarm.• KEYPAD: Tap to enter the time using a keypad.• OPTIONS: View and set the following options:- Alarm type: Choose whether the alarm willuse sound, vibration, or vibration and soundto alert you.- Volume: Drag the slider to set the volume ofthe alarm.- Alarm tone: Choose a sound to play for thealarm.- Snooze: Allow snoozing and set interval andrepeat values for the alarm while snoozing.- Increasing volume: Increase the alarmvolume at slow intervals.- Alarm name: Enter a name for the alarm.3. Tap SAVE to save the alarm.Delete an Alarm1. From a Home screen, tap Apps > Clock.2. Tap ALARM.3. Tap Delete in the upper right corner of thealarm entry you want to delete.World ClockThe world clock lets you keep track of the currenttime in multiple cities around the globe.1. From a Home screen, tap Apps > Clock.2. Tap WORLD CLOCK.3. Touch and rotate the globe, and then tap a city.4. Tap Add city on the city pop-up.5. Repeat to add more cities.Note: Tap Search and use the keyboard to type a cityname. Tap an entry to add the city to your list.To remove a city from the main World Clock screen:► Tap Delete in the upper right corner of thecity thumbnail.
