5• The quality of wireless network connection can beaffected by the surrounding wireless environment.• If an internet service provider has permanentlyregistered the users PC or MAC address (a uniqueidentifying number), the SMART HOME ADAPTERmight not be connected to internet. When appliancesother than a PC are to be connected to Internet,ask your ISP (Internet service provider) about theprocedures required to connect to the internet.• If your internet service provider requires an ID or apassword to connect to the internet, your SMARTHOME ADAPTER may not be able to connect to theinternet. If this is the case, you must enter your ID orpassword when connecting to the internet.• The internet connection may fail because of a firewallproblem.
