To print more than one page per sheet, the pageswill appear decreased in size and arranged on the sheet. Youcan print up to 16 pages on one sheet.1 To change the print settings from your software application,access the printer properties. See page 5.1 to access theprinter properties.From the Paper tab, select the paper orientation, source,size and type.2 Click the Output tab, and choose Multiple Pages perSide in the Type drop-down list. Then select the number ofpages you want to print per sheet (1, 2, 4, 9 or 16) in thePages per Sheet drop-down list.3 Click Print Page Borders to print a border around eachpage on the sheet. Print Page Borders is enabled only ifthe Pages per Sheet is 2, 4, 9, or 16.4 pages per sheet9 pages per sheetP rinting Multiple Pages onOne Sheet of Paper (N-Up Printing)4 Click OK to start printing.Using Toner Save ModeToner Save mode allows the printer to use less toner oneach page. Selecting this option will extend the life of yourtoner cartridge and reduce your cost per page without asignificant reduction in print quality.There are two ways to enable the Toner Save mode:To enable this feature from your printerPress the Toner Save button on the control panel. The printermust be in Ready mode (Data light is on).• If the button backlight is on, toner save mode activates andthe printer uses less toner to print a page.• If the button backlight is off, toner save mode is disabledand the printer prints in a normal mode.Note: To enable or disable the Toner Save mode from thecontrol panel, the Toner Save Mode option in the printer drivermust be set to Printer Setting.
