The printed image is too lightor dark, or partially contami-nated black.(1)Check whether foreign sub-stance or toner are stuck tothe terminal(point of contact)of the developer.(2)Check whether the terminalassembly is normal.2. Totally contaminated black.(Black image printed out)(1)Check whether foreign sub-stances are stuck to the ter-minal(point of contact) of thedeveloper and the state ofassembly.(Especially check thecharged roller terminal.)3. The printed image is dark andghost occurs.(1)Check foreign substanceattached to the terminal(point of contact) of thedeveloper and the state ofassembly.(Especially check the devel-oping roller terminal.)1. All of 1, 2, 3 above(1)Remove toner and foreign sub-stances adhered to the contactpoint of the developer.(2)The contact point of the unitfacing that of the developeralso must be cleaned.(3)If the terminal assembly isunsafe:• Fully stick the terminal to orreassemble it after disassem-bling.• Disassemble the side plate andpush the terminal to be stuck,then reassemble it.2. In case of 2It is a phenomenon when theOPC drum of the developer is notelectrically charged. Clean theterminals of the charged roller,then recheck it.3. In case of 3It is a phenomenon as the devel-oping bias voltage of the devel-oper. Clean the terminals of thedeveloping roller, then recheck it.
