If the image is light or uncleanand untidy printed image -Shake the toner cartridge andthen recheck.(1)NG: Check the weight of thetoner cartridge(2)OK: Lack of toner, so the lifeis nearly closed.2. Some part of image is notprinted - Shake the tonercartridge and then recheck.(1)NG: Check the weight of thetoner cartridge andclean the LSU windowwith a cotton swab,then recheck.(2)OK: Lack of toner, so the lifeis nearly closed.3. Periodically a noise as "ticktick" occurs - Measure thecycle and the weight of thetoner cartridge.4. White vertical stripes on thewhole screen or partly :Check the weight of the tonercartridge.1. Toner is fallen on the paperperiodically.(1)Check the cycle of thefalling of the toner.(2)Check the appearance ofboth ends of the toner car-tridge OPC drum.2.The center of the printed mat-ter is contaminated with toner.(1)Check whether foreign sub-stances or toner are stuckto the terminal (contactpoint) of the toner cartridge.(2)Check whether the state ofthe terminal assembly isnormal.1. All of 1, 2, 3 above-If it become better by shaking,replace with a new toner car-tridge after 50-100 sheets in theclosing state of the life span.2. In case of 2-If it becomes better after clean-ing the LSU window, then thetoner cartridge is normal.(Because of foreign substanceon the LSU window, the imagehas not been printed partly.)3. In case of 3-If the cycle of noise is about 2seconds, the toner inside thetoner cartridge has been nearlyexhausted.( Purchase andreplace with a new toner car-tridge after using about 200sheets at the point of occur-rence)4. In case of 3-This is a phenomenon causedby lack of toner, so replace witha new toner cartridge.1. If both ends of the OPC drumare contaminated with toner:Check the life of the toner car-tridge.2.
