58Adjusting the ISO sensitivityThe ISO sensitivity, as the film sensitivity establishedby the international standards organization (ISO),represents the degree of reaction when camerareceives light. Since it reacts more sensitively withgreater ISO value, a natural shot can be obtained in adark place by raising the ISO value. This reduces thedegree of camera shaking with faster shutter speed.1 In Shooting mode, press [MENU].2 Select Shooting 1 ( 1) ISOan option.Taking a picture in a dark place• The higher ISO speed you select, the moreimage noise you may get.• When the noise reduction function is used, thenoise caused by the high-sensitive ISO(3200)can be reduced.• The available ISO setting options may differdepending on the selected Shooting mode.• The function can be set directly by pressing[ISO] in the shooting mode.
