24_ installing your air conditionerIndoor Unit InstallationIt is recommended to install the Y-joint before installing theindoor unit.1. Place the pattern sheet on the ceiling at the spot where youwant to install the indoor unit.Since the diagram is made of paper, it may shrinkor stretch slightly due to temperature or humidity.For this reason, before drilling the holes maintainthe correct dimensions between the markings.Note2. Insert bolt anchors, use existing ceiling supports orconstruct a suitable support as shown in figure.3. Install the suspension bolts depending on the ceiling type. Ensure that the ceiling is strong enough tosupport the weight of the indoor unit.Before hanging the unit, test the strengthof each attached suspension bolt. If the length of suspension bolt is more than 1.5m,it is required to prevent vibration. Check the level of the indoor unit by using a leveler. A tilt of the indoor unit may cause malfunction of abuilt-in float switch and water leaks.6. Adjust the height of the indoor unit by using the gauge ofdimensions. You should adjust the gauge of dimensions and thepattern sheet to fit the cutting dimensions of ceiling.
