If you are roaming on a digital system, you willsee the roaming icon along with the text – Digital Roam – .Roaming on Other Digital NetworksWhen you’re roaming on digital networks, your call quality andsecurity will be similar to the quality you receive when makingcalls on the home network. However, you may not be able toaccess certain features, such as data services, depending on theavailable network.Checking for Voicemail Messages While RoamingWhen you are roaming off the home network, you may not receiveon-phone notification of new voicemail messages. Callers can stillleave messages, but you will need to periodically check yourvoicemail for new messages if you are in a roaming service areafor an extended period of time.1. Dial 1 + area code + your phone number.2. Press .3. Enter your passcode at the prompt and follow the voiceprompts.When you return to the home network, voicemail notification willresume as normal.Setting Roam ModeYour phone allows you to control your roaming capabilities. Byusing the Roaming menu option, you can determine which signalsyour phone accepts.Choose from two different settings on your dual-band phone tocontrol your roaming experience.1.
