English - 10Connecting to a Cable Box that Descrambles Some ChannelsIf your cable box descrambles only some channels (such as premium channels), follow the instructions below. Youwill need a two-way splitter, an RF (A/B) switch, and four lengths of Antenna cable. (These items are available at mostelectronics stores.)1. Find and disconnect the cable that isconnected to the ANT IN terminal on yourcable box.This terminal might be labeled “ANT IN”,“VHF IN” or simply, “IN”.. Connect this cable to a two-way splitter.. Connect an Antenna cable between theOUTPUT terminal on the splitter and the INterminal on the cable box.4. Connect an Antenna cable between the ANTOUT terminal on the cable box and the B–INterminal on the RF(A/B) switch.5. Connect another cable between the otherOUT terminal on the splitter and the A–INterminal on the RF (A/B) switch.. Connect the last Antenna cable between theOUT terminal on the RF (A/B) switch and theANT IN terminal on the rear of the TV.After you have made this connection, set the A/B switch to the “A” position for normal viewing. Set the A/B switch to the “B” positionto view scrambled channels.
