operating _1502 OPERATINGReverse Osmosis Water SupplyIMPORTANT :The pressure of the water supply coming out of areverse osmosis system going to the water inletvalve of the refrigerator needs to be between 35and 120 psi (241 and 827 kPa).If a reverse osmosis water filtration system isconnected to your cold water supply, the waterpressure to the reverse osmosis system needs tobe a minimum of 40 to 60 psi (276 to 414 kPa.) Ifthe water pressure to the reverse osmosis systemis less than 40 to 60 psi (276 to 414 kPa):• Check to see whether the sediment filter in thereverse osmosis system is blocked. Replacethe filter if necessary.• Allow the storage tank on the reverse osmosissystem to refill after heavy usage.• If your refrigerator has a water filter, it mayfurther reduce the water pressure when usedin conjunction with a reverse osmosis system.Remove the water filter. If you have questions about your water pressure, call a licensed, qualified plumber.CONTROLLING THE TEMPERATUREBasic temperature of Freezer andRefrigerator CompartmentsThe basic temperature and recommendedtemperatures of the Freezer and RefrigeratorCompartments are 0 °F and 37 °F(or -18 °C and3 °C) respectively. If the temperature of the Freezerand Refrigerator Compartments are too high orlow, adjust the temperature manually.CONTROLLING THETEMPERATUREControlling the Freezer temperatureThe Freezer temperature can be set between5 °F(-15 °C) and -8 °F(-23 °C) to suit yourparticular needs. Press the Freezer buttonrepeatedly until the desired temperature is shownin the temperature display. Keep in mind thatfoods like ice cream may melt at 4 °F(-15 °C).The temperature display will move sequentiallyfrom -8 °F(-23 °C) to 5 °F(-15 °C). When the displayreaches 5 °F, it will begin again at -8 °F(-23 °C).Five seconds after the new temperature is set, thedisplay will again show the actual current freezertemperature until the new temperature is reached.Controlling the RefrigeratortemperatureThe Refrigerator temperature can be set between44 °F(7 °C) and 34 °F(1 °C) to suit your particularneeds. Press the Fridge button repeatedly until thedesired temperature is shown in the temperaturedisplay. The temperature control process for the Fridgeworks just like the Freezer process.Press the Fridge button to set your desiredtemperature. After a few seconds, the Fridgewill begin adjusting towards the newly settemperature. This will be refl ected in the digitaldisplay.• The temperature of the Freezer or theRefrigerator may rise from openingthe doors too frequently, or if a largeamount of warm or hot food is placed ineither side.• This may cause the digital display to blink.Once the Freezer and Refrigerator temperaturereturn to their normal set temperatures, theblinking will stop.• If the blinking continues, you may need to“reset” the Refrigerator. Try unplugging theappliance, wait for around 10 minutes and thenplug the power cord back in.DA68-02601B-14.indb 15 2018. 10. 8. 오후 5:04
