English - 10FlooringFor proper installation, you must place thisrefrigerator on a level, hard surface that is thesame height as the rest of the floor.This surface should be strong enough to support afully loaded refrigerator.To protect the finish of the flooring duringinstallation, cut a large section of the cardboardcarton and place it under the refrigerator whereyou are working.When moving the refrigerator, you need to pull andpush it straight forwards or back.Do not wiggle it from side to side.CAUTIONWhen installing, servicing, or cleaning behind therefrigerator, be sure to pull the unit straight out andpush back in straight after finishing.Important: Make sure that you can easily moveyour refrigerator to its final location by measuringdoorways (both width and height), thresholds,ceilings, stairways, etc.• Make sure you disconnect the water supply lineBEFORE removing the freezer door.To avoid damage, refer to ‘Separating the waterline from the refrigerator’ in the manual (page12).SETTING UP THE REFRIGERATORInstalling the handlesImportant : If you need to remove the refrigerator’sdoors to move it into place, install the handles afteryou put the doors back on.Take the handles out of the right side door.The handles are included in the box.DA68-02981E-01.indb 10 14. 1. 20. 7:48When moving your refrigeratorTo prevent floor damage, be sure the front levelinglegs are in the up position (above the floor).Refer to ‘Leveling the refrigerator’ in the manual(page 14).SCREW DRIVER(-)CONTROL LEVERFixer screw quantity is optional.
