OperationsEnglish26OperationsVacationIf you are going on vacation or a business trip, or if you do not intendto use the fridge for an extended time, use the Vacation mode.(Type A and Type B models only)• To activate Vacation mode, press Fridge with the 1 °C indicatorselected. The vacation indicator ( ) turns on while the display ofthe fridge temperatures will turn off. The display of Type A (CoolSelect+) and Type B (Cool Select Zone) models also turns off. Thefridge temperature will be controlled under 15 °C, but the freezerremains active as previously set.• To deactivate Vacation mode, press Fridge again. The fridgetemperature will restore the 7 °C. Note that Type A (Cool Select+)and Type B (Cool Select zone) models return to the temperaturesettings of the fridge.(Type C models only)• To activate Vacation mode, press and hold Vacation for 3 seconds.The Vacation On indicator turns on while the display of the fridgetemperatures will turn off. The fridge temperature will be controlledunder 15 °C, but the freezer remains active as previously set.• To deactivate Vacation mode, press and hold Vacation again for 3seconds. The fridge temperature will return to the previous setting.NOTEIt is strongly recommended to empty the fridge compartment andmake sure the door is closed.For Cool Select+/Cool Select Zone models, Vacation mode is controlledunder 15 °C just like the fridge settings. However, the relevantindicator turns off, depending on the model.04 Cool Select+ / Cool Select ZoneCool Select+(TYPE A)Press and hold Cool Select+ for 3 seconds. Then, press again to select adesired mode. The corresponding indicator turns on.• FridgeIf selected, the Cool Select Zone will be set to 3 °C.• Soft FreezeIf selected, the Cool Select Zone will be set to -5 °C. This is useful tostore meat and/or fishery for an extended time.• FreezerIf selected, the Cool Select Zone will be set to -12 °C.
