You cannot utilise all of thesefunctions at all times. Many of the In-Use MenuOptions are network services.Press during a call to choose some or all of thefollowing In-Use Menu options:Phonebook: allows you to access the Phone Bookmenu. For details, see page 65.Message: allows you to access the Messagesmenu. For details, see page 81.Mute/Unmute: allows you to switch your phone’smicrophone off, so that the otherparty cannot hear you.Example: You wish to say something to anotherperson in the room but do not want theother party to hear you.Silent Key: does not transmit the key tones. Itallows you to press keys withouthearing annoying key tones during acall.Note: To communicate with answeringmachines or computerised telephonysystems, this option must be disabled.Viewing Missed CallsYour phone keeps a list of calls that you do notanswer when the phone is on and the caller can beidentified. The phone indicates a missed call bydisplaying a text notification on the screen.Additionally, if caller information is available, thephone displays the phone number of the most recentmissed call.Press to make a call to the displayed number, orto clear the message and return to Standbymode.Dropped CallsA dropped call can occur during a conversation inresponse to a signal fade or leaving a service area. Inthis case, the call ends and “Signal Faded” displays.Press to clear the message and return toStandby mode.SEND:SendDTMF: sends DTMF tones of the currentlydisplayed number. DTMF (Dual ToneMulti Frequency) tones can be used tocontrol electronic phone services suchas bank-by-phone or voice mail.During a call, key in the digits youwant to send as DTMF tones, forexample, the bank account numberand password. Then, press this key.
