We suggest that you read this user guide tofully understand the services that your phone supports.Turning your phone onTo turn your phone on:1. Fully extend the antenna for the clearest reception.2. Press and hold for more than two seconds.Note: Your phone has a built-in antenna. As with any other radio-transmittingdevice, do not touch the antenna as it affects call quality and can cause thephone to operate at a higher power level than is necessary.3. The LED indicator lights and a power-up alert sounds. The name of yourservice provider momentarily appears on the display screen.4. The phone begins searching for a network signal. When a signal is found,the date, day, and time appears.5. Your phone is now ready to place and receive calls.If the phone is outside of your carrier’s coverage or roaming area the icondisplays. If this happens you cannot place or receive calls. You must try laterwhen service becomes available.
