Make sure your phone is on. (If your phone is off,incoming calls go to Voice Mail.)2. Press to answer an incoming call. (Depending on yourphone’s settings, you may also answer incoming calls byopening the phone or by pressing any number key. See “CallAnswer Mode” on page 94 for more information.)Your phone notifies you of incoming calls in the following ways:• The phone rings and/or vibrates.• The LED flashes.• The backlight illuminates.• The screen displays an incoming call message.If the incoming call is from a number stored in your Contacts, theContacts entry’s name is displayed. The caller’s phone number mayalso be displayed, if available.The following options are also available to handle an incoming call:• Press or the volume key to quiet the ringer.• Either press the right soft key or press and hold thevolume key for 2 seconds to Ignore the incoming call and sendit directly to your Voice Mail box.
