It also alerts you at the specified timewhen you have set an alarm by turning itsbacklight and showing the corresponding icon onit.When the display is off, press and hold one of theVolume keys on the left side of the phone to turnthe display on.Vibration mode: Appears when theringer volume for calls is set to Vibrate orHigh+vib or when your phone is in Silentmode.Digital mode: Indicates when the phoneis logged onto a digital network.Analog mode: Indicates when the phoneis logged onto an analog network.1x mode: Indicates when the phone is inthe 1x mode.Battery status: Shows the level of yourbattery. It turns off if no key ispressed within a given period of time, dependingon the Backlight (Menu 4-2-4) menu set in theDisplay menu. The backlight remains on at alltimes when the phone is connected to an optionalcar kit.To specify the length of time for which thebacklight is active, set the Backlight menu.
