Music 89Play MusicThe Play Music application supports multiple ways to addmusic to the library:1. Download songs from Google Play to your phone.2. Copy music from your personal computer to yourphone using a USB cable.3. Transfer music from another Bluetooth or Wi-Fi device.Once you have downloaded or transferred music to My Musicfolder, follow these procedures:1. From the Home screen, touch Applications ➔Play Music.The Music app searches both your online library andyour device’s internal storage for music and playlists;this can take from a few seconds to several minutes,depending on the amount of new music added sinceyou last opened the application. It then displays acarousel view of your new and recent music, organizedby RECENT, ARTISTS, ALBUMS, SONGS, PLAYLISTS,and GENRES.2. Swipe left or right to browse through your new andavailable music. RECENT, ARTISTS, ALBUMS, SONGS,PLAYLISTS, and GENRES (grouped into categories).3. Touch an on-screen song to open it and beginplayback.4. Return to the Library screen from most other screensin the Music application by touching the Musicapplication icon (Music notification icon) at thetop-left of the Application bar.Changing Library ViewYou can change the way you view the contents of yourlibrary.1. From the Home screen, touch Applications ➔Play Music.2. Touch or tab name near the top-left of theApplication bar to back up to the main Music Appmenu.3.
