This option is availableonly for fields where Web text can be entered.Entering Characters Using T9 Text InputT9 Text Input lets you enter text by pressing keys just once per letter.To select T9 (English) mode when entering text, see "Selecting aCharacter Input Mode" on page 27.T9 Text Input analyzes the letters you enter using an intuitive worddatabase and creates a suitable word. (The word may change as youtype.) If the word you want is not displayed after you have entered allthe letters, press to scroll through additional word selections. Toaccept a word and insert a space, press .If you make a mistake,press to erase a single character. Press and hold to delete anentire entry.To enter text using T9:1. From the text entry screen (for example, a new event inscheduler), press the right soft key for Options andselect T9 (English).2. Use the keypad to enter the new event.
