Use only approved batteries and chargers.Ask your local SAMSUNG dealer for further details.Note: You must fully charge the battery before usingyour phone for the first time. A dischargedbattery is fully recharged in approximately120 minutes for a slim battery, 150 minutes fora standard battery.Using a Travel AdapterThe phone can be used while the battery is charging.1. Connect the lead from the traveladapter to the bottom of thephone. Check that the ar row onthe lead connector is facingtowards the front of the phone.2. Connect the adapter to a standard AC wall outlet.When the battery is charging, the battery iconin the top right-hand corner of the display fillsrepeatedly.3. When charging is finished,disconnect the adapter from thepower outlet.Disconnect the adapter from thephone by pressing the grey tabson either side of the connector and pulling theconnector out.Note: Do not remove the battery from the phonewhile the travel adapter is being connected tothe phone.Using a Desktop Cradle1. Connect the lead from the travel adapter to thedesktop cradle.2. Align the tabs at the bottom of the battery withthe corresponding slots in the desktop cradle andpush the battery down until you hear a click.3. Connect the adapter to a standsrd AC wall outlet.The LED on the cradle indicate the following:Red: the battery is chargingGreen: the battery is fully charged.Yellow: the battery is not plugged in correctly oroperating at a temperature that is too highor too low.4.
