Changing Your Settings 143Reset SettingsYou can easily reset your phone to its default settings. To resetyour phone:1. In Idle mode, press Menu ➔ Settings ➔ Reset Settingsand press the Select soft key or the key.2. Scroll to and set options one of the following options:• All• Sound Profile Settings• Display Settings• Phone Settings• Alarms• Bluetooth3. Press the Check soft key to make your selection and pressthe Reset soft key.4. Enter your phone password, if prompted.5. At the “Reset Settings?” prompt, press the Yes soft keyto reset, or the No soft key to cancel. Once your phone isreset to its default settings for those selected options, itrestarts itself in order to incorporate the new settings.Memory ManagementYou can check clear of memory or view the Used (memory) Spacefor Shared Memory, Messaging, My Stuff, Calendar, Tasks, Notes,or the Address Book. You can also delete all the information fromyour phone:1. In Idle mode, press Menu ➔ Settings ➔ MemoryManagement and press the Select soft key or thekey.2. Scroll to and set one of the following options:• Clear Memory• Used SpaceClearing MemoryNote: To completely remove any personal information stored on your device,see “Precautions for Transfer and Disposal” on page 172.1.
