This may save you thetime and expense of an unnecessary service call.When you switch your phone on, the following messages mayappear:Insert SIM Card♦Check that the SIM card is correctly installed.Phone Locked Enter Password♦The automatic locking function has been enabled. You must enterthe phone’s password before you can use the phone. The factorypreset code is "00000000".Enter PIN♦You are using your phone for the first time. You must enter thePersonal Identification Number (PIN) supplied with the SIM card.♦The PIN Check feature is enabled. Every time the phone is switchedon, the PIN has to be entered. To disable this feature, use the PINCheck menu (Menu 9.6.1).Enter PUK♦The PIN code was entered incorrectly three times in succession andthe phone is now blocked. Enter the PUK supplied by your serviceprovider. There is a PUK1 and a PUK2 code. Please make sure youknow which one is locked and apply the correct PUK code.“No service,” “Network failure” or “Not done”displays♦The network connection was lost. You may be in a weak signal area(in a tunnel or surrounded by buildings). Move and try again.
