Getting started21Switching on or off the phone1. Open the phone.2. Press and hold the key until the phoneswitches on.3. If the phone asks you to enter the phonepassword, enter the password and press the OKsoft key. The password is preset to “00000000”at the factory. For further details, see page 156.4. For further details, seepage 157.The phone searches for your network and, afterfinding it, the idle screen appears on the display.You can now make or receive calls.Note: To change the language, use theLanguage menu (Menu 6.4).
