78Menu functionsGreeting message (Menu 9.2.2)Use this menu to enter the greeting that is displayedbriefly when the phone is switched on.Short cut (Menu 9.2.3)You can use the Navigation keys as shortcut keys toaccess specific menus directly from Idle mode. Usethis menu to assign a shortcut menu to a key.Assigning a menu to a key1. Select a key to be used as a shortcut key.2. Press <Options> and select Change.3. Select the menu to be assigned to the key.Using shortcut optionsPress <Options> to access the following options:• Change: change a shortcut menu.• Remove: deactivate the shortcut assignment tothe selected key.• Remove all: deactivate all shortcut assignments.Extra settings (Menu 9.2.4)You can turn the automatic redialling or answeringfeature on or off, and lock the external keys.• Auto redial: set the phone to make up to tenattempts to redial a phone number after anunsuccessful call.• Anykey answer: answer an incoming call bypressing any key, except <Reject> or [ ].When this option is not selected, you must press<Accept> or [ ] to answer a call.• Voice clarity: increase the microphone’ssensitivity to allow the other person on the phoneto hear your voice clearly, even though you may bewhispering.• Active folder: answer an incoming call by openingthe phone.
