Before you cansend or receive instant messages, youmust set up a server.Set up a server1. In Standby mode, press [Menu] →Connectivity → Chat.A prompt asks if you want to define aserver. Press <Yes> (If the promptdoes not appear, press <Options> →Settings → Server in use).2. Set the server options according toinstructions provided by your serviceprovider.Login to the IM server1. In Standby mode, press [Menu] →Connectivity → Chat.2. If the device does not attempt to loginautomatically, press <Options> →Log in.3. Enter your user ID and password, andthen press <Ok>.If you are offline, messages will bedeleted from the server the next timeyou connect. If you are using thePOP3 protocol, deleted messages areremoved when you close the mailboxconnection.
