112Home screen modeHome screen mode allows you to set your display to theconventional layout of Basic mode or provide an easier userexperience for the first-time smartphone users using Easymode.1. From the Home screen, tap ➔ Settings ➔ Homescreen mode.2. Tap one of the following options:• Basic mode: provides conventional layout for the apps andwidgets on your home screens.• Easy mode: provides easier user experience for first-timesmartphone users on the home screens.3. Tap Apply.Blocking ModeWhen Blocking mode is enabled, notifications for selectedfeatures will be disabled. You will only receive notifications ofincoming calls from people on your allowed list.1. From the Home screen, tap ➔ Settings ➔Blocking mode.2. In a single motion touch and slide the Blocking modeslider to the right to turn it on .Confirm that the Blocking mode active iconappears in the Status bar.3. Place a green checkmark adjacent to those featuresyou would like to enable. Choose from: Disableincoming calls, Disable notifications, and Disable alarmand timer.4. Configure a timeframe for these features to be active.Remove the checkmark from the Always field toconfigure the From and To time fields.5. Tap Allowed contacts to assign those contacts that areexempted from these rules. Choose from None, Allcontacts, Favorites, or Custom. Allowed contacts willthen appear in the Allowed contact list.Sound SettingsFrom this menu you can control the sounds on the phone.
