2524CCaallll FFuunnccttiioonnss CCaallll FFuunnccttiioonnssAnswering or Rejecting a CallWhen somebody calls you, the phone rings and thephone icon in the middle of the screen flashes.If the caller can be identified, the caller’s phonenumber (or name if stored in your phonebook) isdisplayed.Answering a CallThere are two ways to answer an incoming call.• Press the Accept soft key.• When the Any-Key Answer menu option is set toON, press any key( except ,the Reject soft keyor the volume key )Rejecting a CallTo reject a call, press or the Reject soft key.Note: If you receive a call in locked mode, it deactivatesautomatically. When you end the call the phonewill lock automatically after the predeterminedamount of time.Using the Voice Dialing FeatureWhen the Voice Dialing function is used, by saying aname, the number that has been associated to thatname is dialed automatically. For further details onthe Voice Dialing feature, refer to page 66.Adjusting the VolumeDuring a call, if you wish to adjust the earpiecevolume, use the volume key on the left side of thephone.When you get a call, press and hold the volume keyto silence the ring tone immediately.In idle mode, you can adjust the ring volume usingthe same keys.
