Call Functions24Making a Call from the PhonebookYou can store phone numbers that you usefrequently in the SIM card or the phone’s memory,which are collectively called the Phonebook. Simplyselect the required name to recall the associatednumber. For further details on the Phonebookfeatures, refer to page 33.Adjusting the VolumeDuring a call, if you want to adjust the earpiecevolume, use the volume keys on the left side of thephone.Press the key to increase and the key todecrease the volume.In the idle mode with the folder open, you canadjust the key volume using these keys.Call Functions25Answering a CallWhen somebody calls you, the phone rings and thefollowing screen appears on each display.If the caller can be identified, the caller’s phonenumber or name, if stored in your Phonebook,displays.1. If necessary, open the folder. Press the key orthe Accept soft key to answer the incoming call.If the Anykey Answer option in the ExtraSettings menu (Menu 6.8) is checked, you canpress any key to answer a call except forthe key and the Reject soft key (seepage 97).If the Active Folder option in the ExtraSettings menu (Menu 6.8) is checked, you cananswer the call simply by opening the folder (seepage 97).Note: To reject an incoming call, press and holdthe volume keys on the left side of thephone before opening the folder.2.
